Getting trained in CPR has become popular of the years, as awareness was raised regarding the the dangers of cardiac disease. There are different programs you can choose from, primarily categorized into: (1) basic, (2) advanced, and (3) re-certification training. We have our training locations in six cities, spaced out over five states. You can enroll in any of them because they all have the same set of programs available.

Heart disease is the number one killer of American men and women. With a rate of 235 Americans out of 100,000 dying from a cardiac-related problem in 2010, that amounted to more than 2,000 cardiac disease-attributed deaths each day during that year. That’s 1 death every 40 seconds. With these increasingly high statistics that show how bad the state of cardiac health is in America, one of the best ways to manage CVD complications is to learn CPR. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is vital in keeping a victim of cardiac arrest alive, with or without medical management available. Compressions keep the heart beating while ventilation oxygenates the blood. These two work hand in hand to stabilize a victim before the EMTs arrive. If an AED is available and you are a trained rescuer, using defibrillation to return the heart to a normal rhythm is also a form of management. Remember, AEDs are not used when the victim is flatlined (asystole).
